彼が雇う最初の職人たちはいわば最低の技能者です。
なぜなら彼らは建物の基礎を埋めるためのミゾ堀り人夫であるからです。
しかしこの人たちがいないことには建物は建ちません。
次に建物を完成させるために多くの技術者が使用されます。
その入口の内壁に描かれる壁画は歴史的な事象を表現した美しい絵画で、これが最後の仕上げです。
このために最高の芸術家が使用されます。
しかしこの芸術家でさえも、使用する絵具の顔料が、必要な各種の精製過程を通じて労働者により処理されなかったならば、本人の全能力をもってしても要求される作品を作り出すことはできません。
このことは彼が用いる必要のある筆その他の道具類についても言えます。
しかもこうした道具がなければ才能は価値のないものとなってしまうでしょう。

最初に仕事に従事する労働者は最もレベルの低い才能の持ち主と見なされるかもしれません。
それは、ビルを建てる土台の排水溝工事を請け負うからです。
しかし、土台がなければビルは建設出来ません。
続いて建築物を完成させる為に多くの才能が発揮されます。
歴史的な記録や装飾等の最終的な仕上げが入口の内壁の壁画に施されるでしょう。
そして、その為、最高レベルの芸術家が仕事に従事します。
しかし画家が持てる才能の全てを駆使しても、使用する塗料である顔料がなければ課せられた作品を製作出来ません。その顔料は、必要とされる様々な精練の行程を経て職人により製造されます。
画家にとってなくてはならない絵筆や他の道具についても同じです。
これらがなければ画家の才能も価値のないものとなります。
